Section 1(n)

(n) "investigation" means collec tion of evidence, detailed examination, analysis or scrutiny of a specific problem pertaining to the dam and its appurtenant or a part thereof and includes laboratory testing, in -situ testing, geological exploration, model testing and mathematical simulati on of the problem;
