Section 2(i)

(i) any body or authority established by or under a Central Act or a St ate Act or an authority or a body owned or controlled or aided by the Government or a local authority, or a Government company as defined in section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), and includes a Department of the Government; or
